Rick Guthery
Pilot
As the owner of Helicopter Partners Inc, Rick Guthery is committed to training, safety, and certification of helicopter pilots. Rick has flown helicopter and airplanes logging thousands of hours in the private, public and federal sectors for over 38 years.
Rick’s commercial aviation career began in 1982 with the US Army, Class 83-43 Royal Blue at Fort Rucker Alabama. He flew UH-1H Huey helicopters in the United States, Central America and Egypt on active and reserve duty until 1999.
In 2000, Rick became a Designated Pilot Examiner in the South Florida Flight Standards Office with authorization to administer Private through ATP certificates as well as Certified Flight Instructor and Instrument Instructor. Additionally, in 2000, He became a member of the Miami Dade Fire Rescue Department flying Bell 412EP helicopters for Medical transport, Fire Fighting, and Search and Rescue missions. Rick Retired in 2020 from the Fire Service. Rick continues to oversee the daily operation of Helicopter Partners, and assists owners and operators with the management of their helicopters.

Christian Bassler
A&P Mechanic and Pilot
Growing up in a small town in Maryland, Christian, always had a love of flying and aviation. He began his career sweeping floors at his local airport at the age of 16. While working towards his dream of becoming a pilot, Christian was employed full time as an A&P at a powerline utility company in Pennsylvania.
In 2015, Christian relocated to Florida, completed flight school and began instructing and managing aircrafts out of Miami.
Through hard work and determination, Christian has accumulated a broad knowledge of helicopters in both maintenance and operations. We are proud to have him on our team.
